Eija-Riitta Korhola is a former member of the European Parliament (1999-2014) and a specialist in communication and consultancy in EU-affairs. Currently she is a Delegate of the Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI) at European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels and and a professional board member, serving companies concentrating on clean tech.She has more than 15 years of experience in European lawmaking, especially in the field of energy, climate, environment and the internal market. Having written and defended her doctoral thesis on climate politics (The Rise and Fall of the Kyoto protocol – Climate Change as a Political Process) she has a unique combination of academic research and political decision-making. She is a visiting senior fellow at Tsinghua-Brookings in Beijing. She is also a member of the steering committee of ICEF, Innovation for Cool Earth Forum. Prior to becoming an MEP she worked with development aid, journalism and business consultancy.
Raghu is Co-Founder of Emphase Energy. He has more than 20 years of experience in the clean energy and high technology industries. Prior to Enphase, he developed high-speed optical communication technology for Cerent, which was later acquired by Cisco Systems for $7 billion. Before Cerent, Raghu was an engineer at the Indian Institute of Science, where he played a key role in the development of an alternative energy gasification system. He co-founded Enphase Energy with Mr. Fornage in 2006. Raghu has a MSEE from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Dr.Rob Stephen has been elected as President of Cigre International in 2016.
Dr. Stephen joined Eskom in 1980 and holds an MSc and MBA degrees as well as a PhD in “Objective determination of optimal transmission line designs”. He is currently the Master Specialist in the Technology Group in Eskom and is responsible for distribution and transmission technologies of all voltages covering both Alternating Current and Direct Current.
